- 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup

- 1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour blend (make sure it contains xanthan gum)

- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp salt
